We own the gap, never your hour.

You're the expert in the room, for one hour a week. Orimentis is the other six-and-a-half days: the between-session ally that keeps your students moving, then tells you what to target next so the hour you do bill lands on the live misconception instead of rediscovering it. We reach the families who could never have hired you, and amplify the one that did. We make your hour worth more.

A sharper next session

Students arrive having already worked the basics Socratically, and the tutor view we're building will show you where they're stuck, so your hour goes straight to the hard part only you can teach.

A tool, not a rival

Aligned to AQA, Edexcel and OCR, and it never just hands over the answer. It builds understanding the way you would. The tool a family turns to when they can't afford you is yours to use with your own students.

We know how this reads

An AI tutor pitched to human tutors sounds like a threat. It isn't, and the reason is a clean line through the market, not a fudge. We substitute for the tutor a family can't afford. We amplify the tutor a family already trusts: for them, we're not the cheaper replacement, we're the days you can't be in the room. We're practising the same craft you are: Socratic, grounded in the spec, allergic to just handing over the answer. So our instinct is to sharpen your judgement, not stand in for it. The relationship you have with a student (the accountability, the read on their mood, the trust) is the thing AI can't replace and we never reach for it. We own the gap around your hour; we never reach for the hour itself.

What we give tutors, and what we'll never build

When you prescribe Orimentis and want to see how the between-session work is going, you become an audience for your student's progress. So we draw a hard line, and we publish it: tutors see the shape of understanding (mastery, struggle, the live misconception to target next), never itscontents. A misconception is a property of understanding; a conversation is a private utterance. We surface the first to make your next lesson sharper, and never the second.

What we give you

  • A better hourA tutor view we're building to surface mastery and live-misconception state on your own students, so your paid hour can aim true instead of rediscovering where they're stuck.
  • Ownership of the gapWe're the only actor present every day, extending your reach into the 167 hours you can't bill, never the one you can.
  • Validation, not competitionPower-user access to the same spec-aligned tutor you'd otherwise be pitched against, yours to use with your students.
  • A fair deal you keepYou keep what's yours: diagnosis, motivation, accountability, the human relationship. We're paid by the household for the days you're not there.

What we'll never build

  • No conversation accessYou see the shape of understanding, never your student's dialogue with the tutor. Not verbatim, not summarised, not "to plan the lesson better."
  • No surveillance consoleNo time-on-task, no last-seen, no "did they do their homework" policing surface. Mastery to teach to, never behaviour to enforce.
  • No tutor marketplaceNo matching, no booking, no rev-share on your fees, no tutor-discovery surface. We never intermediate the relationship with your client.
  • No tutor above the studentIf your wish (fuller visibility, faster results, "just make them look productive") ever collides with the learner's privacy or understanding, the learner wins. We serve you in service of them, never the other way round.
